You can check for updates manually by following the steps below.
On the first day I started playing it on my 360, I was already starting to get disc reading errors.
I now get them quite frequently when I play that game (1 times an hour). I have a "first run" 360 so it's one of the older models.
Be sure to allow any updates to finish before beginning your game installation.
Downloading and installing digital copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops III You may experience slow downloads due to the size of the download.
Lots of brushes and DVD-style discs have been on the market for years that claim to clean the lens effectively. Sure, cleaning a game system isn’t a dangerous task (unless you’ve got your Xbox opened up and are removing hardware with pliers outdoors during a thunderstorm). The laser lens can get knocked out of alignment easily with the wrong approach. Feel free to do your research (this guy really seems to like it, and swears like a sailor) and carefully follow these instructions once you buy it.
I’m sure you’re gentle with all of your toys, especially the Xbox. Hey, it’s a lot better than buying an all-new system.
Red ring of death, DVD drive failures, and excessive overheating come to mind.
Today’s frustration focuses on a more in-depth problem: why won’t my Xbox 360 read game discs?
: DThere is hidden secret (I don't know if this is as secret as I believe, but what the hey! I found out about this while I was recieving the notorious disc read error that shows up, for some, half way through 'Star Wars: The Force unleashed' after turning it off and then back on a few hour's later Solution that worked for me was this: When you're in your XBOX 360 dashboard go to system settings, go into your memory section, press This will start a hard-drive maintenance process and should hopefully stop your 'disc read error message' from messing up your gaming hour's. I do this every friday morning before I go to work and haven't recieved the message since.(I think it's like a defrag for the PC.)Also, even if this process dosn't seem relevant try it anyway.
Edit********** I just followed the link from the guy above me (Thanks goes to Anim Zero) his link says basicly what I just typed.
